Mangaluru: Dr P S Harsha appointed as new Police Commissioner

Mangaluru, Aug 06, 2019 : The State Government has on August 5, Monday appointed Dr P S Harsha as the new City Police Commissioner.

 

Earlier, the government  had  announced the appointment of Dr Subrahmanyeshwara  Rao as the new Commissioner but the same was cancelled.

The new appointment follows the transfer of the erstwhile Commissioner Sandeep Patil  to Bengaluru as DIG and Joint Commissioner of Police (Crimes).

 The new City Police Commissioner had earlier served as ASP in Puttur.
