Mangaluru Dasara concludes with immersion of Navadurga idols at Kudroli

Mangaluru, Oct 1, 2017: The Navaratri celebrations of Kudroli Gokarnanatheswara Temple came to an end with the immersion of the Navadurgas and Lord Ganesha idols here on Sunday morning.

The last idol of Goddess Sharade was carried in a procession around the Temple and dropped in to the Kalyani Pond after the final rituals.

The idol of Lord Ganesha was in the forefront of the procession which was followed by Adishakti, Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kooshmandini, Skandamata, Katyayini, Mahakali, Mahagowri, Siddidatri and Sharada.

People participated in large numbers in the processions that went on till Sunday morning. There will be another procession to mark the Dasara celebration on the Car Street on today evening.
