Mangaluru : Cycling Expedition organised for a Traffic Congestion-Free city

Mangaluru, May 14, 2016: A  cycling expedition aimed at enlightening Mangalureans on the benefits of cycling and also to contribute towards a Traffic Congestion-free Mangaluru  was organised on May 14, Saturday under the joint aegis of Mangaluru Cycling Club and K-Lounge, a showroom of the prestigious Killer Jeans Brand.

 

The event which commenced from the K-Lounge showroom at Balmatta concluded at the same spot after passing through Empire Mall, MG Road, PVS Junction,  Bunts Hostel Road, Hampankatta, Nantur Circle and Bendorewell Circle. As many as 25 cycling enthusiasts from Mangaluru Cycling Club, under the leadership of Anil Shet participated in the expedition.

Earlier, Uday Nayak, Assistant Commissioner of Police, flagged off the expedition.  Valentine D’Souza, Chief of DCIB who was present as a chief guest, urged the participants to be cautious while cycling.

Satish Patel of Kiran Clothing, Mumbai, Anil Shet and Harish Maheshwari of Mangaluru Cycling Club, Sanjay Vasani and Hitesh Vasani of K-Lounge and others were present.
