Mangaluru : Corporator, Health Department employee test positive for Covid-19

Mangaluru, July 08, 2020:     A corporator of Mangaluru City Corporation as well as an employee serving the Health Department of the MCC have tested positive for Covid-19.

 

The corporator from Kunjathbail Ward No. 15 had recently attended a meeting at the Kunjathbail Primary Health Centre.  After a person who attended the meeting had tested positive for Covid-19, the corporator was in self- quarantine for the past seven days.  Today her Covid-19 test report has come out positive. She has informed about her Covid report in a social media post.

The MCC office is likely to be closed for public once again as a precautionary measure in the backdrop of the Corporator and a staff testing positive for Covid-19.
