Mangaluru : Congress workers, leaders celebrate Priyanka Gandhi’s entry into active politics

Mangalur, Jan 24, 2019: Congressmen in Dakshina Kannada too are elated  over the entry of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra into active politics with her appointment as the party’s General Secretary for eastern Uttar Pradesh. Party leaders and workers gathered at the District Congress office  on January 24, Thursday and expressed their joy by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

 

AICC Secretary and District Congress in-charge P  V Vishnunath who was present on the occasion, said the entry of Priyanka into active politics has boosted the morale of the party workers. He also exuded confidence that the UPA  will secure majority in the next elections and that Rahul will be the next Prime Minister.

MLC and Parliamentary Secretary Ivan D’Souza,  MLC and DCC Chief Harish Kumar, Mayor Bhasker K, MCC Chief Whip Shashidhar Hegde, Corporators Purushottam Chitrapur,  Abdurravoof and several party leaders and workers were present.
