Mangaluru : Compartment of train jumps track while reversing

 Mangaluru, May 16, 2017 : A compartment of the Chennai-Mangaluru Express derailed  while it was being reversed at great speed  near the Marnamikatta railway bridge on May 16, Tuesday.

 

 

The mishap took place when the bogey was being taken to the railway yard from the Central Station. It  even climbed the platform at one point.

Details are yet to emerge.
