Mangaluru : City bus fares revised

Mangaluru, Jan 08, 2015: A meeting held here on January 7, Wednesday under the presidentship of Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim has  revised the city bus fares in the district in the backdrop of the  reduction in KSRTC bus fares by the government following demand from various corners.

 

 

The meeting resolved that the fares that existed since August 20,213 prior to the last revision will be effective. When there was a heated discussion at the meeting regarding the reckless behaviour of some of the city bus crew, the District Superintendent of Police Dr Sharanappa  ordered holding of a two month training programme for bus crew on good behaviour.

Regional Transport Officer Afzal Ahmed Khan, office bearers of Bus Operators’ Association and members of the general public participated in the meeting.
