Mangaluru : Canara Bank launches mobile ATM on Founder’s Day

Mangaluru, Nov 19,2016 :  Canara Bank which is celebrating its Founder’s Day today,  November 19, Saturday has launched a mobile ATM.

Harideesh Kumar B, Executive Director of the Bank  launched the mobile ATM. In his address he said the Mobile ATM equipped with CDMA technology will operate n different places of the city including State Bank circle , PVS, Jyothi Circle, Kodialbail, near MCC office and other places on a rotation basis.

 

 

 

The mobile ATM will  be of great help to the locals who need not stand in long queues as is the case in the past few days following demonetization of old 500 and 1000 rupee notes, he added.

K Virupaksha, General Manager and Chief  of Mangaluru Circle of the Bank said the mobile ATM is configured to dispense new Rs 2000 currency notes  apart from Rs 100 notes. Once 500 rupee notes are supplied, the ATMs will be configured to disburse 500 rupee notes too, he added.
