Mangaluru: CCB cops arrest accused in murder attempt case

Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2016 : CCB police have arrested a person identified as K Abdul Basheer (42) of Mijar Edapadavu in connection with a murder attempt  that took place  in July this year.

 

Basheer has been accused of abusing and trying to kill two persons named Dharmendra and Devu by assaulting   them with an iron rod, wooden club and nails.  It is said that Basheer was accompanied by a gang of 15 during the attack.

 

Basheer has been produced before the court and remanded to 15 days of judicial custody. CCB Inspector Sunil Y Naik and others were part of the team that arrested the accused.
