Mangaluru: CCB Police arrest duo in attempt to murder

Mangaluru, Mar 09,2017 :  CCB police  have arrested two persons under Kankanady limits who  attempted  to murder on March 09, Thursday.

 

The arrested are identified as Shivaram Rai (45) and Sushan Rai (29) residents of Jeppinamogeru.

It is said that Naufal Ibrahim was  attacked by Shivaram and Sushan at Kadabaregadde in Jeppinamogeru  with knives and hit him with a wicket on March 07. Kankandy police had registered the case.

On credible information the duo were arrested near Pumpwell by the CCB  were later handed over to the Kankanady police.

The one accused Shivaram Rai  had charges in seven cases including murder, attempt to murder 20 years ago.

Investigations are underway.
