Mangaluru : Businessman attacked by unidentified assailants at Kandavara

Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2020:     A businessman was attacked by unidentified assailants with machete  near Kandavara in Bajpe Police station limits on November 15, Sunday night. The injured businessman is Abdul Azeez (59) of Kaikamba. The incident occurred when he was  walking towards his car  after  offering Namaz at the mosque at around 10.30 pm.  It is said two men  launched an attack on Azeez with  machetes and escaped from the spot after grievously injuring him.

 

A personal rivalry is suspected to be the reason behind the attack. The injured businessman has been admitted to a private hospital.  Azeez owns a textile shop in the city.

Bajpe police are investigating the case.
