Mangaluru : Bunts Hostel Circle gets a new look

Magaluru, June 08, 2015: For the 19th consecutive Sunday - June 7, volunteeers  under the auspices of Ramakrishna Mission cleared  areas near Bunts Hostel Circle in the city. 

 

They cleaned out  garbage accumulated on the roadside and  rubble accumulated near road medians. The footpath which had many  holes  were covered and levelled.  The crumbling  bus shelter was painted. Synthetic grass was laid inside the circle to improve the looks. . Handbills on awareness of cleanliness were distributed by volunteers among the public in the locality.

The cleanliness drive was carried out in the city on the 19th consecutive Sunday out of the planned 40. Swami Gautamanandaji, senior trustee, Ramakrishna Mutt, Belur Mutt and Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Mutt, Chennai, inaugurated Sunday’s drive.
