Mangaluru: Bikarnakatte serial accident victim succumbs in hospital

Mangaluru, Aug 20, 2015:  Thirty eight year old Melwyn Alwyn D’Souza who had sustained critical injuries in a  ghastly serial road mishap at Bikarnakatte on  July 25, has breathed his last  at a private hospital here on August 19, Wednesday.

Melwyn’s wife Pramila who was also seriously injured in the mishap is said to be on the path of recovery. Melwyn and his wife were on their Honda Activa when a private bus plying on the BC Road-State Bank route  rammed against their two-wheeler. The bus which had run amock had also hit an Alto car, an autorickshaw and a motorbike.

A total of five persons were injured in the mishap.  The deceased Melwyn, a videographer by profession is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.
