Mangaluru: BJP to celebrate two years of NDA Government

Mangaluru June 4, 2016: Dakshina Kannada BJP will be celebrating two years of NDA government  through a programme titled “Vikas Parva” at Town Hall on June 8, informed Prathap Simha Nayak, District President of BJP.

 

Addressing a  press meet at BJP office on June 4, Saturday, he said that Union Minister of Commerce Nirmala Sitharam, Minister for State for Home Affairs Haribhai P Choudhary, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Sullia MLA S Angara, MLCs Capt Ganesh Karnik and Kota Srinivas Poojary will grace the occasion.

"People have trusted the BJP government  and have followed  the footsteps of Modi in bringing certain change in this democratic country. Today nearly 1 crore 15 lakh people have benefited with gas subsidy but it is unfortunate that  Congress party is unable to digest development works in the country," said Nayak.

Congress is facing flak from some of its own senior leaders, he said and alleged that during the  past six decades Congress has ruined and weakened the administration.

Workshop for  BJP ZP workers inaugurated :

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated a one day workshop for BJP Zilla Panchayath Members at BJP office  on Saturday, June 4.

Speaking on the occasion he said that  people have blessed BJP with their support  in Zilla Panchayat. "Today people have realized the efficiency of Modi who brought several changes in the society. During the Nepal earthquake and  Kerala Temple tragedy Modi was quick enough to respond to the cries of the people compared to that of Congress government," Nalin Kumar recalled.

Former Minister Krishna J Palemar, District BJP President Prathap Simha Nayak, Zilla Panchayath President Meenakshi, Vice President Kasturi Panja and former MLC Monappa Bhandary was present.
