Mangaluru: BJP protests against sand problem; demands early solution

Mangaluru, Nov 03, 2018:  The Mangaluru city South and North Assembly Constituency units of the BJP staged a protest in front of the DC office here on November 3, Saturday over the sand shortage problem that has hit hard the construction indstry as well as the common people.

The protestors accused the state government as well as the district administration of   dilly dallying to grant permission for sand extraction. They also demanded a permanent solution to the sand problem.

MLA D Vedavyas Kamath, BJP leaders Premananda Shetty, Ravichandra Shetty, Pooja Pai and others participated in the protest.
