Mangaluru : BJP observes Surgical Strike Shaurya Diwas at War Memorial

Mangaluru, Sep 29, 2018: The  Mangaluru City South unit of the BJP   observed Surgical Strike Shaurya Diwas  at the War Memorial at Kadri on September 29, Saturday. The Day is being observed to  commend the valour of the Indian armed forces which destroyed terror camps on the other side of the border in a surgical strike on this day two years ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, former MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik said  the surgical strike had boosted the morale of the armed forces, while cautioning Pakistan. This surgical strike is a  matter of pride for the  Indian Army as well as all Indians, he added.

Vikram Dutta, President of DK District Ex-Servicemen’s Association,  ex-serviceman Col. Sharath Bhandari, Mangaluru South MLA   D Vedavyas Kamath,  former MLA Yogish Bhat,  Corporators Roopa D Bangera, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Jayanthi Achar, Mahila Morcha District President Pooja Pai and others were present.
