Mangaluru: BJP leader blames Congress for sand shortage

Mangaluru, Nov 10, 2023: District BJP Spokesperson Jagadish Shenava has blamed the Congress government for the scarcity of sand and said the issue has aggravated after the Congress government came to power.

 

Speaking to reporters on November 10, Friday, he said the BJP will support the contractors and builders associations who are protesting against the shortage. He alleged that sand mafia was prevailing in the district and said the government has failed in solving the sand issue.

Party leaders Kasturi Panja, Ravishanker Mijar and others were present.
