Mangaluru, Sep 30,2017 : A vehicle rally to take taken out from Mangaluru Airport to Talapady on October 2, Monday will be participated by BJP National President Amit Shah.
Informing this to reporters here on September 30, Saturday, District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor said the BJP Chief who will be on a visit to Kerala from October 3 to 5 to take part in a Padayatra to protest against attack on Hindu activists in Kerala, will be arriving in Mangaluru on October 2 on way to Kerala.
As many as 300 vehicles will take part in the rally which will be participated by the BJP Chief, he added.
Matandoor also informed that a Padayatra planned by the party from Puttur to Padumale, the birth place of Tulunadu legends Koti Chennaya on October 2 has been postponed in the wake of Shah’s visit. The protest was planned to condemn the insult to the statue of Devi Baidethi, mother of Koti Chennaya.
