Mangaluru : All non-essential shops asked to shut down

Mangaluru, April 23, 2021:       Following a surge in Covid cases and the  revised guidelines of the state government issued on Thursday, the police in Mangaluru  have been on a drive in the city asking all non-essential shops to shut down.

Though the authorities had  stated on  Thursday itself that all non-essential shops have to be closed, many were found open and police led by City Police  Commissioner   are   asking shopkeepers to down shutters.
