Mangaluru: Absconding accused Nishant Shetty arrested by CCB Police.

Mangaluru: July 1, 2015: The CCB police led by Vatentine D’souce have successfully nabbed another accused on Tuesday June 30, who managed to escape from the police when they raided three days ago.

 

The accused Nishant Shetty (24) is a resident of Kelarai church.

On Saturday June 27, the CCB police had raided and arrested a murder-accused named Dayanand alias Raja near Kulshekar- Kaikamba post office and had seized a pistol and five live bullets. Both were planning to carry out another crime.

The police arrested the prime accused Raja. However, Nishanth Shetty managed to escape from the police.

The CCB police began their search to nab Nishant Shetty and successfully arrested near Vamanjoor on Tuesday.

 

Nishant is accused in attempt to murder. Several cases of assault has been registered against him.

 

The accused has been handed over to Kadri police station for further investigation.
