Mangaluru: 50 LPG cylinder seized in crackdown.

Mangaluru: June 26, 2015: Taking a major action against smuggling of LPG cylinders the officers of food department seized over 50 cylinders in Falnir, Mangaluru on Thursday.

 

The LPG cylinders which were seized included 40 domestic and 12 commercial cylinders and 4 empty cylinders.

Acting on a complaint received by the department, the team led by Assitant Director Sunanda raided the premises and a building near Kudumbi garden in Falnir road and seized all the cylinders.

During the raid the officers found cylinders lying on the road, few cylinder were on vehicle.

Sunanda warned that strict action will be taken against the accused for indulging in illegal activities.
