Mangaluru : 5 fishermen rescued from stranded boat in mid sea

Mangaluru, Nov 27, 2018: Five fishermen who were trapped in a fishing boat  which was left stranded in mid sea after it went out of control of its driver, were rescued and brought ashore by some fishermen from Sasihitlu who noticed the boat named Anjana Varshini which was in danger.

The incident took place during the wee hours of November 26, Monday. The boat  was also dragged to the shore  by the fishermen. The boat had  set out on a  fishing expedition from Malpe.

Even the Coastal Security Force personnel and local lifeguards assisted in the rescue operation.
