Mangaluru : 5 arrested for selling drugs at Bejai

Mangaluru, Oct 31, 2017: Five youth who were found selling ganja to students and public at Bejai area were arrested on October 30, Monday by  the police personnel of South Anti-Rowdy Squad.  Ganja weighing 2.2 kg in 61 packets, 5 mobile phones and a cash of Rs 2,390 has been seized from them.

Those arrested are Yajnesh Shetty (21) from Bendorewell, Rakshith Shetty (21) from Kandettu, Melwyn Rohit (22) from Yeyyady, Roshan Veigas (23) from Kulur and Anil D’Souza (45) from Bejai.

The arrest was made following a tip off that  a person was selling ganja near a  Mandir at Bejai.
