Mangaluru: 5 Drug peddlers arrested with cocaine worth Rs 50,000

Mangaluru, Aug 17, 2018 : Mangaluru City Crime Branch(CCB) police have arrested five persons on August 17, Friday inconnection with drug peddling in the city.

 

Nithin(35) of Puttur, Vijesh Kumar(34) of Manjeshwar,   Sandeep Kumar(35) of KHB colony, Bondel, Santhosh Kumar (36) of Bejai church road and Rahul (26) of Bikarnakatte are the accused arrested.

On reliable information Mangaluru CCB inspector Shantaram, Mangaluru east police station inspector Maruthi Nayak,  PSI Sham Sunder, H D Kabbal Raj and Mangaluru east police station staff swung into action and have been sucessful in arresting the accused.  They have seized cocaine worth Rs 50,000, 3 cars, 7 mobile phones,Rs 1,02,000 in cash. A total value of Rs 19,57,000.

Further investigations are underway.
