Mangaluru : 3 Congress leaders join BJP ahead of MCC polls

Mangaluru, Nov 04 2019: Three Congress leaders have joined the BJP in the presence of Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath on November 3, Sunday at the District BJP office.

 

State Secretary of All India Catholic Union, Deepak Attavar,  Sidney Fernandes and Naveen Vas are the leaders who joined the BJP.

Vedavyas Kamath welcomed them into the BJP fold by handing over BJP flags. Deepak Attavar alleged that the Congress had neglected the Christian community despite majority of the community supporting the party.

Several BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.
