Mangaluru : 21-day Kala Jatha highlighting government schemes inaugurated

Mangaluru, July 19,2016 : A Kala Jatha aimed at creating awareness among the people on the achievements of the state government  was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim at the DC office premises on July 19, Tuesday. The  jatha has been organised to mark the beginning of the 4th year of the government in office.

In his address, the Deputy Commissioner elaborated on the  various welfare schemes launched by the government including the Anna Bhagya, Ksheera Bhagya, Rajeev Arogya Bhagya, Krishi Bhagya etc.

He said the 21 day long Yatra organised by the Information Department will travel in various parts of the district.

CDs providing information about government schemes will also be played during the  jatha, informed Information Officer Khader Shah.

Mohammad Nazir, MCC Commissioner,  Kumar, Additional DC, Shantharaju, DCP (Law and Order) were present among others.
