Mangaluru : 15 yr old boy drowns in Netravathi river

Mangaluru, June 20, 2020:    A  15 year old boy met a watery grave in the Netravathi river at Jalakadakatte near Dharmanagar in Boliyaru village on Saturday afternoon.

 

The deceased is Fazil, a resident of Nadupadavu near Konaje. It has been gathered that the boy  slipped into the river while washing his hands  and feet after  picking coconuts from a  plantation nearby.
His body was retrieved from the river at around 2 pm.
