Mangalurean Arathi Shetty wins 3 silver, 1 bronze in National Masters Athletics Event

Mangaluru, March 14, 2016 :  Arathi Shetty of Mangaluru who represented Karnataka in the 37th National Masters Athletic Championship   held at Mysuru under the auspices of the Masters Athletics Federation of India, has  bagged  three silver medals and one bronze medal.

 

Arathi won silver in long jump, 200 meters race and 4x100 meters relay and bronze in 100 meters race.

Lakshman Rai, Secretary of Karnataka State Masters Athletics Association has informed that Arathi has been selected to represent  India in the Asian Masters Athletics Event to be held at Singapore and  World Masters Athletics Championship to be held at Perth.

She is being coached by Lakshman Rai at Mangala Stadium.
