Mangalore: Voting message on Nandini Milk packets

Mangalore, April 8, 2014(DHNS): To reach out to large number of people on the need for exercising franchise, Dakshina Kannada Milk Union has decided to use the Nandini pasturised cow milk packets. The packets will bear a slogan urging them to exercise their franchise during the Lok Sabha elections in the State on April 17.

 

 

The slogan ‘Matadana Maduvudu Namma Hakku – April 17 randu mathadana madi’ (To vote is our right, vote without fail on April 17) is printed prominently on the sachets.

The initiative is part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme that aims to increase voter awareness and participation. The message is being printed from April 2. It will print the message on 4,32,000 packets daily.
