Mangalore : Veteran freedom fighter Addoor Shivashanker Rao passes away

Mangalore, Feb 21, 2013  : Addoors Shivashanker Rao, a veteran freedom fighter, agriculturist and one of the founder members of the Communist Party  of India, passed away at a private hospital in Mangalore on February 19, Tuesday. He was 92.

 Rao is survived by his two sons,Addoor Krishna Rao, a famous writer, agriculturist and banker and Sooryanarayana Rao, a wildlife expert.
