Mangalore : Urva police nab 4 on charges of bike theft

Mangalore, June 30, 2014 :  Urva Police have arrested four persons on the charges of stealing bikes. Those arrested are Ashwin and Ganesh of Akashbhavan, Prajwal of Kottara Chowki and Shoaib of Kavoor Shantinagar.

The four have been arrested in connection with the theft of a bike parked in the Cyrian Church premises on JB Lobo Road in April.

It has been alleged that they changed  the last digit of the number plate of the bike and had tried to sell it.

The cops arrested them when they were lurking suspiciously on June 28, Saturday night.

Sources said they were experts in stealing petrol from bikes parked in front of apartment complexes and also  construction materials from under construction sites.
