Mangalore University wins Gold, Silver Medal at national level weight lifting

Mangaluru, Feb 28,2017: Mangalore University won its first gold and silver medal at national level inter university power lifting competition being held at Chandigarh.

Maina Devi won gold medal under 63 kg section after lifting 430 kilogram weight whereas Kannan Vijayan under 59 kg section succeeded to win a silver medal for Mangalore University. Both medal winners are from Alva’s College Moodbidri
