Mangalore University students demand CBI probe into Kavya death case

Mangaluru, Aug 1,2017 :  Mangalore University students staged a protest   on August 1, Tuesday demanding a CBI investigation into the case of suspicious death of Alva’s student Kavya. A badminton player, Kavya was found hanging from the ceiling of her hostel room.

Several student leaders who addressed the protest said their protest was not aimed at any educational institution  but their main objective was to ensure justice to the family of Kavya.

Prior to the demonstration, students took out a protest march inside the University Campus.
