Mangalore : Minister Khader presents Florence Nightingale Awards

Mangalore, June 20, 2014: Three outstanding and senior nurses of Mangalore received Florence Nightingale Awards for their remarkable services at a ceremony held at the Government Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore on June 20, Friday. The function was organised by  the Mangalore unit of the Karnataka State Association of Nurses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

UT Khader, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare conferred the Awards to Vishalakshi Jesuman, Kamala Hugar and Victoria Janet. He also honoured the three nurses on the occasion.

Dr G Shakuntala and Dr Rajeshwari Devi, Superintendents of Lady Goschen and Wenlock Hospitals respectively  Dr HS Shivakumar, District Health and Family Welfare Officer,  Bhavani, President of the district unit of Association of Nurses and several others were present at the function.
