Mangalore : Heavy rains uproot tree at Gorigudde

 Mangalore, June 7, 2013 : Heavy rains that have been lashing the city  resulted in the uprooting of a tree at Gorigudde here on June 7, Friday. Traffic on the road has been disrupted  following the incident.

 

Even electricity supply has been affected as the tree  also brought down along with it an electric pole. However, no one was injured.

MESCOM authorities have arrived at the spot for repair works. Presently,  vehicular movement is allowed on the road. But the vehicles are proceeding at a  snail’s pace as very little space is left at one end of the road for the vehicles.
