Mangalore Diocese to support help to TN flood victims through ’Caritas’

Mangaluru, Dec 24, 2015 :  As per reports,  Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese, on Dec 23, Wednesday conveyed Christmas greetings to all through the media. Wishing that the joy of the feast may reach all the people and let there be peace and prosperity across the country.

 

Rev. A P D’Souza in his message said  Pope Francis has announced a Jubilee year of mercy from December 8 2015 to November 20, 2016.

The Bishop said, “We have made a special collection from our Catholics in all 116 churches of this Diocese as a contribution towards those who have lost their houses due to rains and floods in Chennai and will build  houses for the victims through Caritas India.
