Managalore Powerlifters won several medals in Intl. Championship

Mangalore, Dec 26: The Powerlifters from Karnataka Participated in Subrata Classic International Powerlifting Championship 2014 held at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India from 16th to 21st December 2014 and won several medals in various body weight and age group categories. The Powerlifters reached Managalore Central railway station today and were welcomed by Karnataka power lifting Association and huge crowd of Sports Lovers. Six Different countries took part in the above championships.

 

The Medal Winners are:
 

1.      Mahammad Rameez    - 1 gold, 1 Silver

2.      Pradeep Kumar      - 1 gold, 1 Silver

3.      G.V. Ashok          -1 Gold  

4.      Krishna Devadiga    -2 Gold

5.      Yadava Suvarna      -2 Gold, 1 Bronze 

6.      Ashwin              -1 Silver, 1 Bronze      

7.      Mohammed Haneef     -1 Gold, 1 Bronze

8.      Merina Devi         -1 Gold

9.      Usha B.N            -2 Gold

10.  G.R. Mahesh            -1 Gold, 1 Silver

11.  Suresh Padukone       -1 Silver, 1 Bronze
