Man slips while fishing at Kaup Beach; dies

Udupi, July 4, 2015: A fisherman drowned to death after he slipped into water while fishing at Kaup Beach on Saturday July 4.

 

 

 

 

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Karkera (50), from Kaup. Police said that Ramesh had thrown the net into water and accidently slipped of the boat. It is not clear how he died, but his death has devastated his family.

His body is yet to be retrieved from the water. The search operation is on.
