Man run over by train near Thokkottu over bridge

Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2017:   A man was tragically run over by a train near the Thokkottu over bridge on February 22, Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Venkappa Poojary (54), a resident of Ullal.

 

Poojary who was a mason by profession was staying at a rented house near Sundaribagh. The mishap occurred when he was walking on the railway track.

The deceased has left behind his wife, a son and daughter.
