Man kills wife in intoxicated state in Ambalathara

Kasargod, Oct 21, 2016: A man allegedly murdered his wife in intoxicated state hitting on her head with wooden plank Today October 21, at Ambalathara in Kasargod. The police said that the reason for murder was fight that took place between the couple.

The accused identified as Ambadi, the deceased is  Narayani. The latter is survived by five children- Ajith, Arjun, Ajayan, Shreeja and Anitha. Ajith stays with his relatives and Arjun and Ajayan are stay in a hostel while Shreeja and Anitha live with the parents.

As Ambadi  returned home in inebriated state, quarrel broke between the couple over some issue. Losing temper he  hit Narayni on her head with wooden plank. She was bleeding profusely and breathed her last.  On seeing mother lying on the floor dead Shreeja and Anitha screamed for help.

The locals on hearing the screams rushed to the spot informed the police. Amdadi was taken to custody immediately.
