Man ends life after WhatsApping friends

Kadaba, Oct 16, 2018: A man from Kadaba who was reportedly fed up  struggling to come out of his alcohol addiction, ended his life by hanging himself after WhatsApping and calling many of his friends to inform them that he was taking the extreme step.

The deceased is Vinay (35), son of Kushalappa Devadiga of Nagri near Alankaru. It is learnt that he  was an autorickshaw driver initially and later  worked as a labourer. He had even attended a deaddiction camp to get rid of his  addiction to liquor but  of no avail.

On receiving his message, some of his friends came in search of him only to find him hanging from a cashew tree.

Local police have registered a case.
