Man dies, woman critically injured after car falls into lake at Barkur

Udupi, June 22, 2020:    A man  died and a woman sustained serious injuries after the car in which they were travelling  went out of control of the driver and plunged into Chowlikere  pond in Barkur on June 21, Sunday.

 

 

 

The  deceased is Santosh Shetty, while the injured woman is Shwetha.  It is learnt, Santosh was a businessman while Shwetha is his employee. It is been learnt that a tyre burst led to the mishap. It is said Shwetha’s condition is critical and she has been shifted to KMC Hospital in Manipal.
