Man dies in a road accident in Belthangady

Belthangady, July 18, 2015:  An accident near Keddu in Aladangady  took the life of a bike rider on Friday, July 17. The deceased is identified as Achyuta Acharya. He was a resident of Shirlalu, Belthangadi taluk. 

It is said that Achutha Acharya was riding from Guruvayankere.

When he reached Keddu a speeding car knocked down his two wheeler. He tried to avoid the accident by taking a turn, but failed to do so and fell on the road .

He suffered serious head injuries and breathed his last on the spot.The car plunged into the drain, however the  occupants  escaped with minor injuries.

A case has been registered in Belthangady Police station.
