Man dies after falling from coconut tree

Hebri, Apr 21, 2016: Reports have come in that a person accidentally slipped from a coconut tree and died at Kanyana village coming under Hebri police station limits on Apr 20,  Wednesday.

The police said, Sadananda Kulal (37) had gone to pluck tender coconuts from a coconut tree in Ramakrishna Okude’s coconut plantation at Kanyana. But he accidentally slipped from the tree and fell.

A severely injured Kulal was rushed to the government hospital in Hebri, where doctors pronounced him dead.

A case of unnatural death had been registered at Hebri police station and investigations were progressing.
