Man celebrates silver wedding anniversary with deceased wife’s life-size mannequin

Kundapur, Dec 01, 2023: The Laxmijanardhana Auditorium at Badakere in Kundapur taluk recently witnessed a rare function. It was the silver wedding anniversary of a couple wherein a man celebrated his anniversary with the life size mannequin of his deceased wife, in order to fulfill her wish. The photos of the event wherein the man is seen with his wife’s mannequin along with his two daughters, have gone viral on social media.

 

Sadguru Chandrashekhar, Founder of Saptagiri Co-operative Society had lost his wife Suma last month due to illness. His wife had dreamt of celebrating their silver wedding anniversary and as per her wish he got a life size mannequin readied and stood beside it during the entire celebration, thus fulfilling her wish.

Hundreds of people took part in the celebration with teary eyes and watched with amaze the mannequin of Suma which was an exact replica of hers.
