Man arrested for stabbing boys who were playing

Mangaluru, May 06, 2019:  In a shocking case, a man  in a fit of anger has stabbed two little boys who were playing in front of his  house at Preethi Nagar in Shaktinagar on Saturday. The accused Devaraju alias Annu (40) has been arrested.

The injured boys, four year old Hardik and nine year old Chirag have been hospitalised. The two boys who were enjoying summer holidays were playing with some friends. It is learnt Devaraju was irritated with the noise the boys made while playing. He rushed towards them with a knife in hand. If most of the boys scattered on seeing the knife, he managed to get hold of Chirag and Hardik and stabbed them.

The two boys were immediately rushed to the hospital. They are now out of danger.

The arrested person has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
