Man arrested at MIA for trying to travel using ticket of a woman

Mangaluru, Jan 22, 2015: A person named  Mohammad Shakil was arrested by the Bajpe police at the Mangaluru International Airport on January 21, Wednesday after it was found that he was trying to travel using the ticket  purchased in the name of a woman. It is learnt he was supposed to  fly to Mumbai from Mangaluru by a Jet Airways flight.

Sources revealed that one Imran from the city  had bought two tickets for himself and his mother Shamshad Begum to travel to Mumbai. But   instead of taking his mother along, Imran took his friend Mohammad Shakil  who was caught in the airport by CISF officials. The Bajpe police were later informed and they took him to custody.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
