Man accused of molestation, assault arrested from Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, June 14, 2015: A person from Kotebagilu Subhashnagar  who was wanted in a case of  molestation attempt and assault  was arrested from the Wenlock Hospital  in the city on June 13, Saturday.

It has been gathered that the person identified as Ravi Devadiga along with this three daughters had deliberately got admitted to the hospital without any valid health reason.

The accused   has been accused of pulling the saree of a woman at Kotebagilu and  assaulting her son with  an iron road.

He has also been accused of threatening locals  who questioned his misconduct.

Once he had even hurled kerosene towards the cops who had come to his house to arrest him and therefore is also facing charges of coming in the way of the cops from discharging their duties.

The accused has been produced before the Moodbidri Court and   he has been remanded to judicial custody till June 26.
