Malpe : Financially distressed man hangs himself in boat

Udupi, June 10, 2020:   A young man who was dejected in life due to financial distress has ended his life  by hanging himself in an anchored boat at Malpe Port.

 

The deceased  has been identified as Bhagyaraj, a resident of Paunji Gudde near Thottam.  It is learnt he had constructed a house and had also purchased a boat by availing loan. However due to loss in business he was reportedly in great distress.

It is learnt Bhagyaraj was also a good Kabaddi player.
