Malekudiya association Demands police to Deport the Hand chopper

Karkala: July 30, 2015: The horrific incident which took place in Malkudiya where the Dalit man’s fingers were chopped by the landlord in a fit of rage has triggered massive protest.

 

 

Former District president of Udupi district Malekudiya association has demanded the police to deport the Landlaord Goplakrishna Gowda and other people who were involved in the murder attempt.  He also said that the assault on Dalit people is increasing and no action is taken against the assailants. The police department should take stringent action against all the accused and the district administration must protect the family of Sundar.

The association warned that if their demands were not paid attention, they would take issue to the state level and hold violent protest.
